She got up and almost threw her chair down and that's when I told her that I didn't appreciate how she acts when she gets her way she is fine but when she doesn't she has a funky attitude like no one can have one and how she doesn't consider others and etc etc. I did use some profanity like s*** and a**, but not calling her any names; only telling her what I didn't agree with her on instances when she wanted her way and how that wasn't right. I reported the conflict to my supervisor who gave me a verbal warning and told me to never use any language like that again etc and I signed it. I did not disagree with her because she was right not to allow anyone to push my ons to that point of professionalism; however, now my co-worker has reported it to HR who is investigating it. What should I expect at this point and was it grounds for termination when my co-worker always dishes it but can't take it? Ok, I called Friday the12th for today (Monday), but since the courthouse was closed today for the holiday I didn't have to go and it said that "Your next ATTENDANCE day is Feb 16th 2010". and that's all it said. I logged onto the website and the website says "Next REPORTING date is Feb 16th 2010" so Im kinda confused because I don't know what time Im supposed to be there. The Texans have been doing this for a long time now, either winning/losing the game in the end. When they started the season 3-1, they had that amazing comeback win against the Redskins, and now we seem to lose it at the end like against the Jags and now the Ravens. Despite all this, we are a young team and i loved the intensity and energy shown out there, the Texans NEVER give up and i'm anticipating a playoff team next year if they can learn to minimize their mistakes cuz they truly are a great team. As for the Ravens, they did blow a big lead, but i'm sure its a learning experience for them and if they make it to the play offs they should just benefit from it as a learning experience and Flacco did throw that incredible p on 1st down when he was just molested by the texans defense, so i expect them to be fine cuz Flacco can do those kinds of plays, but needs to play a bit more like that! Netgear Wireless ADSL2+ Modem Router Model DG834G Issues?

I've recently set up the above model of netgear router, put in all the correct settings etc., and it has worked ok, connected to the internet. However sometimes it drops connection. On 192.168.0.1 the Modem status is connected with my usual download/upload speed. The IP Adress, IP Subnet Mask, Gateway IP Adress and Domain Name Server have --- instead of what they'd usually have. In my connection status, Connection to server is Disconnect, with Negotiation saying LCP is allowed to come up (now it says Initialise LCP). Does anyone know why it does this and how to fix it?

Wow that is a lot of info to take in. First I was on the fence to about getting the shot too. I think given your past you made the right decision. I however decided against it and got H1N1...last week. It wasn't that bad for me a fever, a lot of coughing, etc...but I was better after 6 days. Im a US citizen going to medical school abroad. My school is fully accredited with Federal, State (all 50), and World medical licensing agencies. However, it is not eligible for Stafford, or US government subsidized private loans as it does not have a large US student constituency. As of last month, my private lender (iefc.com) has STOPPED all student loans to US students studying abroad. I've had a hard time finding a new lender. Personal loans dont work, because they have a period of repayment in 4 to 6 years. What I need is a loan that is deferred until I start residency (4 years from now). Help... Am I protected because I have been on the pill so long?

I have been on Yasmin for 2 years and have been taking them continously except for every 3 months i don't continue and I have my period. This month I started anew pack and had break through spotting which was my body saying i needed a period my OB told me to stop the pill and resume on Sunday. WHich caused me to miss Monday -Saturday pills. I had unprotected with my husband on the 6th and 7th day after missing the pills. I was told to use other means of protection by my OB if I wanted too. But I was just told by someone that because I have been on the pill so long that I am protected and the missed pills were nothing more than my week off of the pills so I would have a period and I was perfectly fine? My new netbook got a virus before i installed antivirus, and now it won't let me install it.?

I recently purchased an Asus Eee PC netbook, a 1101HA, but before I could install Verizon Internet Security Suite on it, it caught a virus, which i believe was from a torrent site that I used to download a movie. Now when i try to install VISS, which requires me to run an executable called "Verizon_Servicepoint_Setup_RPS.exe", a process in task manager appears as verizon_servicepoint.exe, and then promptly thereafter, another task appears called "stop_verizon_servicepoint.exe" and then both processes disappear. this occurs even when I run the computer in safe mode, with networking enabled. I have Windows XP SP3 installed, and currently no security software other than windows defender. I could really use some help before this thing destroys my computer.

I've had migraines severly since i was about 9 years old. I am now 22, and they are starting to ruin my life it seems. They prevent me from going out with my friends, because i'm stuck at home throwing up from them. I can't even make it to work sometimes. I get them at least once to three times every 2 months. The only medications that help any are Maxalt, Flexaril, or Vicodin. Is there ANYTHING at all i can do to get rid of them forever?

Would charting my bbt give me an idea of what's going on?

I'm having some cycle irregularities (I'm 23) and I'm wondering if charting my bbt would give a better idea as to what is going on. I was on the mini-pill for a year (after having baby #1) and then switched to ortho tricyclen lo. That is what I took before I got pregnant with #1 and loved it. Anyway, after 2-3 months of taking that I started to spot during my cycles (right before this happened I did forget to take 3 of the last pills in the cycle) and have all sorts of problems with longer than usual periods and spotting. We switched to Ortho Tri Cyclen and problems got worse so I decided to stop taking BC all together and see if my body could reset on its own. I stopped taking it at the end of May but I have had crazy cycles! I had a 7 week cycle (and of course, I thought I was pregnant), followed by a 24-day cycle and now I'm on week 6 of this new cycle (and am not pregnant--all tests are negative). I am not doing anything to prevent being pregnant, but we aren't having every day either. We had talked and decided we wanted to start trying in August (this month), but obviously it won't really work because I can't pinpoint anything! One thing that remains certain of the latter 2 of my 3 "cycles" since stopping BC is that on day 13 (religiously) I get cramps for 2 days straight. I also had some similar cramping yesterday, which would have been day 13 of this new cycle (except I didn't get my period) Could that be ovulation pain that some women experience? My doctor did an ultrasound to determine the reason for bleeding while I was on BC and things looked fine, but a follow up just in case is scheduled in late Sept. I want to start trying to get pregnant, but I'm wondering if charting bbt would be able to shed any light on this situation. If you think charting is a good idea for me, I'd love recommendations on charting (like what thermometers you liked & where you got them). Thanks~

I wasn't really a full time smoker, I smoked every time I was drinking, I dunno that's just when I got my cravings but I started getting cravings when I was sober so I decided to quit. Landlord bullying... help?

My ex-landlord (a lawyer) has not returned my deposit. Its been 3 and a half months since we moved out. One month after moving out, we called him to ask if he's returning the deposit soon. He apologised, and said he was very busy and hadn't got time to do an inspection of the flat after we moved, and that once he gets that sorted, he'd return us the deposit. Two months later (and still no sign of money or contact from him), called him again. This time he apologised and said that he was very busy but will endeavour to return us the money. Three months later, called him up again to ask what's happening with the deposit. This time he wasn't apologetic anymore. He said that upon inspection, he found that a corner of the kitchen worktop had chipped off and he had called up a contractor and was awaiting a quotation for the cost of repairing it. We knew what it was - basically a roughly 1-inch by 2-inch piece of the wood veneer that covered the kitchen worktop had chipped off sometime.

The homeowners insurance on my home expired and i was unaware. The company admits that they cannot verify they sent me anything to let me know that I had a bill due or that my insurance was unpaid. Is It Finally Over??

My 3 year old daughter had her first bought of a tummy bug last night and I'm just wondering if the sickness is over. She was sick four times between 7:30pm and 10:30. At 2am she had some water and some toast as she was asking for it, and the nurse said to giver her it. She promptly threw this back up at 3:30am. Actually I believe that you can purchase a spay at pet stores, it will help 'animals to leave it alone'. Also, maybe you could put a litter box outside. Its never to late to teach them to use it. I know that it rains a lot, but spray the lawn as often as possible, & put a couple of litter boxes outside. You never know, & its worth a try.

I would suggest atleast 2-3 years experience with reptiles, especially lizards, before I decided to get a more experienced lizard like that. Bosc Monitor's and Iguana's get quite big, and they do, in fact bite. Now, out of the monitor family, the BEST monitor to get is the Bosc monitor, it's easier to tame than the rest of the monitors. But, you need to understand that you might get bit. School Fundraising EVENT for charity?

How about selling soft pretzels? Most people I know love them. At my school we were able to raise money for prom by selling them from 1-3 times a week during lunch time, which I think is the best time to sell them since a lot of people don't like school lunch. 2 pretzels for a dollar and one for .75 cents is how much they cost for us, just an idea of how much you would want people to spend. They would also have mustard and brown bags for them if they needed one. I'm not sure how much we made from it but I know we made a lot from it since our prom tickets only costed 50 where as other high schools have to pay up to a 100 just for one ticket. Good luck!

OK...I have been cooking ground beef EVERY night for Rory, my beloved Great Dane, and Sampson, my beautiful black lab. It is getting very tiresome, but I can't see anyway out of it. Trailer wheel lock? Does this exist?

Im 14 and my dad has a boat. We redid the whole trailer this winter and now we are ready to put the boat back on and finally go out! He has been talking about getting a lock for the trailer, because it sits in the driveway all day and someone could just take it. They sell locks that go around the wheel, but you could just take off that wheel and drive away. I had been taking antibiotics for a suspected strep throat, which then turned to be a false alarm. But midway (after 9-10 days of antibiotics), I came into contact with an infected person and it seems that now I REALLY have a strep infection (extreme sore throat, high fever, malaise, etc.). I still have 5 more days of antibiotics (Dalacin 600mg x 3/day), but if the infection has just started, should the antibiotics be extended to 10 more days (ie. amounting to 20 days in all since the bogus infection treatment had started)? Or should I have my antibiotic changed? (ie. could the strep bacteria (if that is what it indeed is!) have "hatched" already immune to antibiotics since they got incubated within the antibiotic environment? Help please! It's a dilemma, not even my Doc can figure out ;-( (he said the strep test won't be reliable in this case, either...)

What can I do to fix a concrete slab slanted toward a garage?

A house I might but has a water drainage problem. The back of the garage has a concrete patio that is 1 foot below the lawn level. There are sidewalk type chunks of concrete up against the garage which are causing the problem the rest is an entire piece which is level. The concrete is about 1" below the siding for the garage. Near the corner of the garage there is a gutter that needs to be redirected but isn't a big problem. Can I do something or should I have a professional do this?
