Reasons why a iguana or a bosc monitor might be better then the other as a pet. or why they both good as pets.

I would suggest atleast 2-3 years experience with reptiles, especially lizards, before I decided to get a more experienced lizard like that. Bosc Monitor's and Iguana's get quite big, and they do, in fact bite. Now, out of the monitor family, the BEST monitor to get is the Bosc monitor, it's easier to tame than the rest of the monitors. But, you need to understand that you might get bit. If you do decide to get one of those lizards, you need to invest in some gloves, atleast until they are more tame than they are when you get them from the pet store. All and all, they end up being near the same price after all the accessories you need to get. Just make sure you are ready for that kind of financial commitment. If you want a lizard that you can have running around the house without it getting lost, an iguana or a bosc monitor is better for a pet. But, as I said before, I do suggest you have a great deal of experience before purchasing either one.
