Your thoughts on letter to editor Is illegal immigration still illegal?

How many lives are lost while the police are in the station investigating and processing paperwork on some busboy rather than out on the street preventing violent crimes and the same can be said over in SF not a problem with police being held up when an illegal is caught driving without a drivers license or insurance,not a problem at all for the police to be held up 20 minutes are longer, waiting on a licensed driver to show up or if the police arrest the illegal this could be at least 90 minutes on an illegal with no drivers license ,therefore , how many lives are lost while the police are are waiting this 20 minutes or more and then at the station investigating and processing paperwork on some illegal caught with no drivers license ?
