Rabbit killers?

I live in a small village and there are continuous gunshots. Men oe boys out shooting rabbits quite close to the village, there are miles of open countryside but they stay close to the village and i have to keep the tv on as one of my dogs gets very nervous with the noise of the guns. If i hid in a hedge and shot at the rabbit killers with a paintball gun, would i get into serious trouble?
