How do I remove wallpaper, etc.?

Id like to take down this ugly wallpaper. My girl made me put it up yesterday.Now "my girl" may be in my head, but regardless,- I'm thru listenin to her. So how do you take down wallpaper only a day or two old without ruining the drywall behind it? I was thinkin water, just before thinkin "yeah right genius,- water'll ruin the studs"! I may want to put it back up in due time. So how do I also save the original wallpaper without tearing or ruining it? Do I have to remove the glue on the back, or can I just rewet it?
