Please Help.. Lots of confusion?

I attempted to use raphsody a few years ago for my mp3 player. It wouldn't let me stating that I had a problem with licensing (which i have no clue what that means). I'm getting an Ipod for my birthday and i know raphsody uses pay one price per month for unlimited songs. 1) What kinds of songs do they have? I remember one site having songs that I've never heard of and nothing that I had. I want alot of 80s and 90s, such as blind melon and joan jett. 2.) What is the price per month 3.)
