Help?Is my chicken dying??!??!?

Today i found out that my chicken has a bump.It width is 2 inches and height is 2 1/2 inches.It soft and squishy.Also,my chicken is stilll a baby :( .................What is it & what do i do??!!?(plz dont say take it to the vet)
