How do you Brits feel about Clint Dempsey?

I am from England and support Aston Villa. I think Dempsey is a decent player. Nothing special but hard working. I do not think for one minute Fulham will go down. They have a good manager and a decent team. They also appear to have a good team spirit. You do not read or hear of bad vibes coming out of Fulham unlike other teams such as Man City and a few others. Nice homely football club which deserves to be and remain in the top flight.
